Greg Robinson has been fishing Lake Lanier since 1986, and has been a full-time professional guide since 1998. He operates a new 243cc 24-foot Everglades center console boat, a comfortable, safe, dry-running craft with plenty of space for fighting and landing big stripers. His boat is equipped with a 250-hp Suzuki motor, VHF radio, stereo, outriggers, downriggers, and Driftmaster rod holders. Greg uses Ambassadeur reels and Shakespeare rods.

Greg's home port on Lake Lanier is Lanier Harbor Marina, a private marina with plenty of parking and 24-hour security. The marina is also the closest and most convenient marina to downtown Atlanta. Charters can also be picked up at other lake ramps or marinas.

Greg fished the NSBA Shakespeare Striper Tournament Trail, and finished as the Division Champion for 2003. Greg is a member of the Lake Lanier Light Tackle Guide Association, a group of professional guides on Lake Lanier. He resides in Buford, Georgia with his wife and daughter.
